6.        The pits bread, flat bread made from wheat flour is accompanied with every meal. It is used as a spoon to scoop food from plates since Egyptians don’t use cutlery.

7.        Egyptian food in Indianapolis boasts wide variety of desserts throughout the year though most of the sweets are prepared during the holy month of Ramadan. If you want to try some of the rare and unique sweets you should visit a restaurant during Ramadan.

8.        Egyptian cuisine and Greek cuisine have a lot in common hence you can also get some of the authentic Egyptian dishes in a Greek restaurant Indianapolis.Some of the common dishes are falafel, Dolmathes, hummus, rice pudding etc.
